I made a reference in a previous post about taking note of the things that you are drawn to. As spring approaches I can’t help, but find myself attracted to the blooms that are rapidly becoming abundant. It’s interesting, because I initiallly passed up this floral shot. When I saw it. I thought, “why should I photograph those blooms, I’m sure they have already been done a million times over?”, and yes - it’s true. Those blooms have been photographed over a million times. However, I realized that in all those times,… they have never been photographed by me?. So I immediately turned around, and snapped a few shots… Sometimes, I think it’s easy to doubt yourself creativly. Okay - I KNOW it can be easy to doubt yourself creatively. Nevertheless, I believe it’s important to always remember that your experience is special and has bearing, because nobody can see things or interact with the world the way that you do.
