Woo Hoo! The film I ordered from The Impossible Project came in today. I needed some instant film, because I have this vintage Polaroid SX-70 that I picked up from a flea market a little while back. The vendor and I both thought it was broken, so he sold it to me for only $3. I was going to just use it for display, but after examining it. I realized the camera just needed film to function. The Polaroid film pack actually has a tiny built in battery that the camera needs in order to function, without it the camera just locks up. So today I slapped the film pack in, and surprisingly it works. It’s a beautiful camera, and I adore it’s art deco styling and leather exterior. It even has an SLR viewfinder. Im happy that in addition to looking good, it’s also functional. However, with film at $24 a pack. I’m treating every frame as if it was gold. On the bright side, I don’t have to pay for developing.  I hope to have some images to share with you soon. (Taken with instagram)
